Biography

Sadik Salisu Olaniyi Balarabe, Commonly known as Sadik Balarabe, was born on the 26th June 1992 in Greenwich, London (England). Although he has spent much time playing with a number of notable clubs in Europe and the USA he had only just signed his first official professional contract with Iraklis Pschana to compete in the Greek Football League (2nd Division); After a contract with Paniliakos FC at the start of 2014 had fallen through.

 

Balarabe is London born and raised with family members also located in Nigeria and Ghana. He departed from London to the USA in 2011 when the opportunity to go and play College Soccer on a full scholarship became an option.

 

Through his rising career he has earned various awards at the youth and young adult stages, his best award to date was in November 2012 when he received ALL MCCAA HONORS at the end of the 2012/13 season when he was voted the 2nd best player in the state of Michigan for NJCAA soccer players. Balarabe narrowly missed out on 1st place, but still very proud of this achievment after just two seasons in USA.

 

Sadik Balarabe is the 2nd of four children to Wahab and Julianah Balarabe, he has three siblings, one big sister, Charon Balarabe, and two young brothers, Habib Balarabe (also an aspiring footballer), and the youngest; Faruq Balarabe.  

 

Sadik Balarabe is an ambitious young individual driven by hard work and asperations of family and career success, with such powerful goals from a young age there surely will be  many great things to look forward to in his career.
